MIA Sports Technology Ltd formed in 2007, and run by Iain & Malcolm Mackenzie, are distributors for sports technology products from manufacturers around the world. They mainly sell golf products but have recently taken on Cricket & Motor Racing products too. Until 4 years ago they mainly operated in the B2B market but soon realised there was potential for the consumer market as products were decreasing in price, making them affordable for personal use. They created an online shop and quickly realised they would need to offer consumer finance to stand out in a competitive industry.
After doing some online research on various providers of finance they chose duologi. They contacted three providers throughout the research period but felt that the service and information provided by duologi was the best.
Due to lockdown being in place and demand for their products being so high when launching their finance option, they decided to offer a finance option with an APR as the products were already highly desirable. However as the situation in day to day life gets back to normal and so does demand, they are trialling some 0% Interest free finance options which are a truly wonderful sales tool.
